Auburn's basketball team is in a really good spot heading into the final game of the regular season.

The Georgia Bulldogs will come to Auburn as the Tigers look to sweep the Bulldogs. Auburn beat Georgia 97-76 without Jaylin Williams on the floor. Chad Baker-Mazara had a big game in the win, scoring 25 points on 8-12 shooting from deep.

With how good this Auburn team has been, some of the players are going to be considered for post-season awards, including star big man Johni Broome. He was named one of 15 finalists for the John R. Wooden Award. This award is given to the most outstanding college player every season. More than likely, Zach Edey will win the award, but Broome is definitely worth consideration to be in the running for this award.

Broome is averaging 16.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, two assists, and 2.3 blocks per game on the season. He has been one of the best players in all of college hoops and is the reason why Auburn has a chance to make a run in the NCAA Tournament.

Coach Pearl had this to say about his team one win away from 13 SEC wins, "I don't know that I saw it coming, in the sense that I thought that we had 11 really good players and really good depth," Pearl said. "I thought we had the potential to have great chemistry, because we had good kids. I thought that this was a good team that had a chance to be very good. It turned out, at this point, to be a very good team that has a chance to be great."
