After a 27-7 season and winning the SEC Tournament Championship, the Auburn Tigers were given the No. 4 seed in the West Region.

"You always wonder how much of this thing was seeded before the Sunday finale," Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl said. "We're grateful to be in the tournament and we're grateful to have won a championship in the SEC, especially in a year when everything is so competitive."

The Tigers will play the first and potentially second round of the NCAA Tournament at Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington.

Auburn will take on the No. 13 seed Yale Bulldogs in the first round on Friday, March 22. If the Tigers can pick up a win in that game, its second round game will be on Sunday, March 24.

Auburn would take on the winner of the game between the No. 5 seed San Diego State Aztecs and the No. 12 seed UAB Blazers.

If the Tigers can make it through the first weekend, they would play their Sweet 16 and Elite Eight games at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.

"We're gonna keep guarding and playing with the effort and energy that we guard," Pearl said. "They're (the NCAA Tournament games) all going to be difficult."

Tipoff times and television broadcast information will be announced later tonight. The Auburn Sports Network broadcast for each game be be streamed anywhere on the Auburn Athletics app.
