Claudell Harris Jr. scored 20 points and Devin McGlockton finished with 19 to help Boston College end a two-game losing streak by beating Louisville 89-77 on Tuesday night in Chestnut Hill, Mass.

Boston College trailed by eight early in the second half but tied the game at 54-54 on a Quinten Post 3-pointer with 15:09 to play. Post's trey was part of a 20-1 run that the Eagles used to take control of the game, with Donald Hand Jr. capping the rally with a layup that put Boston College in front at 68-55 with 10:34 left.

The Eagles (14-10, 5-8 Atlantic Coast Conference) stretched their lead to 15 points with 9:01 remaining. Louisville (8-17, 3-11) battled back and trailed 79-73 with 3:11 to play, but the Eagles responded by scoring the next eight points.

Post finished with 17 points, six blocks, six rebounds and five assists for the Eagles, who shot 56.7 percent from the field (34 of 60). Boston College was 11 of 23 from beyond the arc.

Brandon Huntley-Hatfield and Tre White each tossed in 21 points for the Cardinals. Huntley-Hatfield also had nine rebounds.

Louisville played without sophomore point guard Skyy Clark, who broke a rib during Saturday's victory over Georgia Tech. Clark, a transfer from Illinois, has started 22 games this season and entered Tuesday as the team's No. 2 scorer (13.1 points per game). He is shooting 32.4 percent from 3-point territory.

Louisville, which was outscored 50-30 in the second half, dropped to 1-8 on the road this season.

The Cardinals led 24-16 after Ty-Laur Johnson capped a 9-0 run by converting a three-point play with 10:56 remaining in the first half. Boston College rallied and tied the game, 32-32, on a McGlockton 3-pointer with 4:56 left in the half, but a 12-2 spurt handed Louisville a 44-34 lead. The Cardinals had a 47-39 advantage at halftime.

Post led all scorers in the first half with 14 points. He made six of his seven field-goal attempts and also had four blocked shots in the opening 20 minutes.
