BYU held TCU scoreless for four minutes and cut the deficit to 23-22 on a layup from Robinson. The Horned Frogs used another big run to reassert control before halftime.

Micah Peavy's breakaway dunk capped an 18-3 run that put TCU up 41-25 late in the first half.
