Auburn basketball has made the final three schools for Florida State transfer Matthew Cleveland, per Joe Tipton of On3.

The Tigers are finalists alongside Missouri and Miami.

Cleveland was the Seminoles leading scorer last season, averaging 13.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.8 blocks, and 0.8 steals per game.

The six-foot-seven 200-pound guard from Atlanta shot 35% from three a season ago.

Yes, you read that correctly. He is a six-foot-seven guard, which just has to make Auburn fans giddy.

If Auburn could land Cleveland, they would have six guards six feet or taller.

Aden Holloway: 6'2

Tre Donaldson: 6'2

Denver Jones: 6'4

KD Johnson: 6'0

Matthew Cleveland: 6'7

Chaney Johnson: 6’7

These guards would give the Tigers lots of size, which they didn't have a season ago.

Cleveland had an Auburn offer coming out of high school. He was a five-star recruit ranked 26th overall in the class of 2021.

Auburn recruits well in the Atlanta area, so perhaps the junior guard wants to come play his last few seasons closer to home.

This would be a massive get for the Tigers, as Cleveland would fit perfectly within the current roster's needs.
