Anton Watson has arguably had one of the most unique careers in Gonzaga men's basketball history.

From defensive maestro, to glue guy and now the team's most valuable player on both ends of the floor, the Spokane native has worn many hats in a variety of roles for the Bulldogs. This season Watson has embraced a larger role on offense, as he averaged a career-best 14.2 points and 2.5 assists to go with 7.1 rebounds in the regular season. He had five games with 20 or more points, highlighted by two 32-point performances against UCLA and Santa Clara.

His roles have changed throughout his five seasons, but one thing has remained consistent: he's a winner. Watson ranks third all-time in program history in wins with 129 and has a chance to add to that total in the West Coast Conference Tournament and likely the NCAA Tournament. The 6-foot-8 forward is also the only player in Gonzaga history with 1,000 points, 700 rebounds, and 200 steals in a career.

Gonzaga assistant coach Brian Michaelson broke down how Watson's elevated scoring and overall skillset gives him a good chance at playing in the NBA, and much more, on a new episode of Gonzaga Nation.
