Joe Toussaint Thanks West Virginia in Post, Will Not Return

West Virginia transfer guard Joe Toussaint announced on his Instagram Monday evening that he will not return to WVU. Toussaint thanked the program, the fanbase and wished interim head coach Josh Eilert the best of luck.

“Dear, the state of West Virginia, Where do I start .. I appreciate you guys as a whole for embracing a kid from the Bronx with all your heart. I appreciate all the support and love that was brought on to my family and I from this state. To the coaching staff at the University, I appreciate the love and trust you had in me to bring me to this school and have faith in me to play on last years team. No love lost from my family and I at all, we are grateful for all you have done for me during my time here. To Ms Kristen I appreciate you so much with helping me achieve my goal, helping me become a better student, treating me like a son, and helping me graduate this past week. To my old teammates love ya boys, ya know how we rock forever solid. Coach Josh I believe in you and your future as a head coach! Last but not least Coach Huggs, I appreciate you for believing in me and keeping faith in me to become better and better each day. You will forever be my guy and I will forever be your guy. This decision was made by me and I believe this is the best decision for my career after college. With that being said I will not be returning to WVU for my last year ..
