David Stockton played four seasons of college basketball for Gonzaga, and during his senior season with the Bulldogs, Stockton averaged 7.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 43.4% from the field in 36 games.

However, Stockton went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft.

Most recently, the 32-year-old played for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (G League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers) and averaged 13.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, 9.0 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 46.4% from the field and 39.5% from the three-point range in 22 regular season games (he also appeared in 14 Showcase Cup games and on G League playoff game).

This summer, he was a free agent, and (on August 28) G League Ignite announced the signing of Stockton (h/t Alberto De Roa of HoopsHype).

Via Marc J. Spears of Andscape: "NBA G League Ignite announced the addition of five veteran players to its roster for the 2023-24 NBA G League season. The signees include 2022-23 Ignite players John Jenkins and Eric Mika, NBA G League veterans Jeremy Pargo and David Stockton, and newcomer Admon Gilder."

Stockton is the son of Hall of Famer (John) and has played six games in the NBA over two seasons with the Utah Jazz and Sacramento Kings.

His career averages are 3.0 points and 1.5 assists per contest while shooting 44.4% from the field and 60.0% from the three-point range.

Despite his limited time in the NBA, Stockton has proven to be a solid player in the G League.
