Nebraska basketball star Keisei Tominaga used Thursday’s NCAA tournament practice to get some shots up, including a shot he buried from half-court as the Huskers prepared for Texas A&M.

The Aggies meanwhile, used their practice time, to have fun in a different way, at the expense of Keisei Tominaga. Solomon Washington, a starter for the Aggies was taking part in warm-ups and imitated one of Tominaga’s celebrations (one where he covers his ears).

It appears another teammate or manager is pretending to take a 3-point shot and then both mock the Nebraska basketball star by using his celebration.

I’m not sure if these dudes are poking fun at Keisei Tominaga, but it certainly doesn’t seem to be something done out of respect. However, the Aggies also didn’t appear to take things seriously, at least according to one observer who said Nebraska basketball was much more organized.

Buzz Williams can’t be happy that his players are mocking an opponent the day before an NCAA tournament game. Tominaga is a Second-Team All-Big Ten selection. He’s also one hell of a competitor and I for one hope we get to see him celebrate a crap ton against Texas A&M on Friday.

The two teams will meet in the first round of the NCAA tournament. For Nebraska basketball, a win would be the first in program history. It would also be a defining moment for Keisei Tominaga, who would cement himself as a Husker legend with a great game on Friday in Memphis.

Nebraska basketball star Keisei Tominaga is locked in

Texas A&M can joke all it wants, but they better be ready for Tominaga on Friday, because judging by this half-court splash, the dude is locked in.
