Kentucky took down the fighting Brad Calipari’s as the ‘Cats defeated the Commodores 93-77 at home on Wednesday. Despite the late time and a slow start, Kentucky took care of business, finishing 14-4 at home this season.

Rob Dillingham is an electric factory

Against Vanderbilt, Rob Dillingham scored a team-high 23 points, making it his sixth game as the team’s leading scorer. Time and time again, Dillingham put the ‘Cats on his shoulders and helped Kentucky build the leads that ultimately won them the game.

When Kentucky took on Tennessee last time, Dillingham put up 35 points in a loss. Maybe this time we can see some heroics result in what would be a fifth-straight win for the ‘Cats to end the regular season.

#AllAmericanAntonio isn’t an opinion, it’s a matter of fact

When the #AllAmericanAntonio campaign first began, it was a simple cry from the #BBN to maybe see one of their own receive the prestigious honor. However, as we get closer to the postseason, it has became clear that #AllAmericanAntonio isn’t just a biased opinion of Kentucky fans, but it’s a plain fact.

Reeves has now scored 20+ points in six consecutive games following his 20-point effort against the Commodores on Wednesday. Reeves shot 8-17 from the field overall, finding most of his scoring opportunities close to the basket.

Now, give that man his All-American honors.

Tre Mitchell and Antonio Reeves sign off from Rupp Arena

Lastly, to cap off Senior Night, Tre Mitchell and Antonio Reeves said their goodbyes to the #BBN after Kentucky’s win over Vanderbilt. It was a bittersweet moment to say the least. Finally, their talents and contributions were being recognized. However, it marked the last time they’d ever rock the Kentucky blue in Rupp Arena.

Next up, the ‘Cats head down to Knoxville to take on Rick Barnes and the No. 4 Tennessee Volunteers in Thompson-Boling Arena. With Tennessee’s win over South Carolina on Saturday, the Vols clinched first place in the SEC with a 24-6 (14-3 SEC) record. A win against Tennessee could be big for Kentucky’s NCAA Tournament resume.
