Look of the Day for 3/22: Shopping for the best number pays off

Thursday's Look of the Day was a great illustration of how important it is to get the best price on every bet you place. Arizona closed as a 20.5-point favorite against Long Beach State Thursday, and the Wildcats won by 20 to lose by the hook. We were able to cash our ticket on Arizona, though, because we grabbed the only -19.5 on the board Thursday morning when every other sportsbook was at -20 or -20.5. If you aren't shopping around at multiple sportsbooks to find the best number, this should be a sign to start. You always try to find the best price when shopping for clothes or groceries, right? Why wouldn't you do the same with your sports bets?

Anyway, back to the good stuff. Coming off two straight Look of the Day wins, let's finish the week on a high note with our favorite spread bet for the loaded NCAA Tournament slate.

Look of the Day: Colorado Buffaloes +1.5 (-110 FanDuel)

Colorado vs. Florida, 4:40 p.m. ET, TBS

The Pac-12 is off to a great start in the NCAA Tournament. Colorado knocked off Boise State in the First Four, Arizona boat-raced LBSU in the second half to win by 20 and Oregon demolished South Carolina to bring the conference's record to 3-0. The Pac-12 might be better than we thought all year, so let's ride the hot hand.

Florida's biggest statistical advantage is its ability to crash the offensive boards. The Gators rank second in the country in offensive rebounds per game and 19th in rebound rate, but they'll be without 7-foot-1 center Micah Handlogten in this game. Florida relies on put-backs and extra possessions because it isn't an efficient shooting team, but that advantage will be mitigated with its second-leading rebounder off the court.

Colorado, on the other hand, is an elite shooting team. The Buffaloes rank 20th in effective field-goal percentage, seventh in three-point percentage and 12th in free-throw percentage. They're also an above-average rebounding team behind TCU transfer Eddie Lampkin Jr.

Colorado is seven spots higher than Florida in KenPom's efficiency ratings, so it should be a short favorite in this matchup. We'll take the extra few points with the Buffs.
