Although rumors began to surface that Michigan's Hunter Dickinson might opt to remain in Ann Arbor after entering the transfer portal last month, it looks like the 7-footer is still very much exploring his options with other programs.

According to Jeff Ermann of InsideMDSports.com, Dickinson indicated that he was scheduled to visit Georgetown on Saturday, Maryland on Sunday, and Kansas on Thursday.

As part of the DMV area, both Georgetown and Maryland make sense for Dickinson if his hope is to return closer to home. Dickinson played high school basketball at DeMatha Catholic and is a native of Hyattsville, MD. Georgetown is less than a 30 minute drive from Dickinson's hometown, while the University of Maryland is practically in his back yard.

Kansas also provides an intriguing opportunity for Dickinson, with the potential opportunity to play for a program that hasn't missed the NCAA tournament since the late 80's (1989). The Jayhawks finished the 2022-23 season with a 28-8 record and made it to the second round of the NCAA tournament before suffering a 1-point loss to No. 8 Arkansas. Although talented, Kansas lacked a prototypical center who could serve as a staple in the middle. Dickinson could certainly fill that void for head coach Bill Self.
