The UNLV Rebels men’s basketball team ended its season Wednesday night when it lost 91-68 to the Seton Hall Pirates in the NIT quarterfinals.

The Pirates took the lead for the first half within the first minute and did not give it up. At the half, the Rebels trailed 44-26. UNLV played better in the second half, but they dug too deep of a hole in the first half and could not climb out.

Kaleb Boone led the Rebels in scoring 16 points off the bench on 8-10 shooting. Justin Webster was the only UNLV player to score in double figures with 11 points.

All five Pirates starters scored in double figures, with Al-Amir Dawes leading the way with 21 points.

The Rebels shot 44% from the field but struggled for the three-point line, shooting 23.8%. Seton Hall shot 56.5% from the field and 44% from beyond the arc.
