Rutgers men’s basketball is in full swing as the second week of the season begins. At the same time, the early signing period for the 2024 class has been a huge success for the program.

The Scarlet Knights have now signed the 5-star Bailey, 3-star forward Dylan Grant and Top 150 wing Bryce Dortch during the early signing period that began on November 8. 4-star center Lathan Sommerville has stated he will sign on the last day of the early signing period on Wednesday, November 15.

The 2024 recruiting class for Rutgers is currently ranked No. 8 nationally in the 247 Sports composite rankings. It marks a historic group of incoming prospects joining the program for the 2024-2025 season.

As for the season, Rutgers will host Georgetown on Wednesday, November 15 at 8:30 pm airing live on FS1. The Hoyas are coming off a one point loss at home to Holy Cross. It also marks the anticipated appearance of Ed Cooley with the RAC faithful expected to give him an enthusiastic welcome.

In addition, this is a big game for Rutgers to continue to develop on both ends of the floor. Guard play, finishing at the rim and behind the arc as well as  passing as a team are key areas the Scarlet Knights need to improve on.

All of these topics and more are discussed on the latest episode of The Scarlet Faithful podcast.
