The losses for the Stanford Cardinal just keep on flooding in when it comes to players leaving for the transfer portal.

They already lost their two top-55 freshmen who each made impacts right away on a veteran team, and on Tuesday evening they ended up losing their leading scorer Maxime Raynaud to the portal. The 7-foot-1 center was named the Pac-12 Most Improved Player of the Year this past season after posting a team-high 15.5 points and 9.6 rebounds per game.

Losing Raynaud along with Kanaan Carlyle and Andrej Stojakovic, means that Stanford is now expected to lose their entire starting five, as well as a large chunk of their bench production. Along with those three, they are expected to lose Spencer Jones, Michael Jones, Jared Bynum, James Keefe, and it is still unclear what Brandon Angel plans to do.

All of these departures mean that former walk-on Benny Gealer who averaged 4.2 points and 2.3 assists per game this past season will be the most productive returning player.

In terms of how much talent they lost, Raynaud ranks as the No. 1 portal player, with Stojakovic (#3) and Carlyle (#4) not far behind.

Whoever is hired to replace the fired Jerod Haase will certainly hope to get a chance at bringing these players back. However, being that this replacement is likely coaching in the NCAA Tournament, they may not get that chance. Stanford will need around 10 new players next season, maybe more.
