Your UCLA Bruins fell to a 6-10 record last night in ignominious fashion, losing by the second-biggest margin in team history, 90-44, to the 12-4 Utah Utes.

The club's confidence is apparently pretty rattled. Junior transfer wing Lazar Stefanovic, who is probably regretting his decision to transfer from the Utes to Westwood this offseason, conceded that the team is low, per UCLA Communications.

“I feel like our team’s confidence is not in the best spot," Stefanvoic said. "I guess that’s normal when you start losing and are on a losing streak, but we’ve got to find a way to pick it up and stick together as a team and lift each other up.”

Sophomore guard Dylan Andrews, meanwhile, offered a solution for how he can lift his colleagues' spirits, while simultaneously seemingly confirming there was some discontent (as, to be fair, there needs to be after a result like this).

“Just talking to the guys, man," Andrews said. "It’s a long season. We got Washington coming up in two days, so we can’t hang our heads on this one. It sucks of course, but we have to be ready and we have to be mentally strong and come out and bring fire to the next game.”

Next up for the Trojans, as Andrews acknowledged, is a date with the Huskies on Saturday.
