For real hoopers, ball never stops. It doesn’t matter if you are retired or whatever the situation is, you are always looking to play more. It could be in a different type of league then you have been used too or just on a random court somewhere. The joy that comes from playing basketball lives inside and needs to be allowed out.

For former NBA players, many of them continue their basketball careers either oversees or in smaller leagues. That itch to play still is there especially if they are still young enough to play consistently.

For former USC and NBA player, Nick Young, that drive is still around it seems. He is still playing competitively and is still hitting buckets. Swaggy P looks like he still has his shooting stroke and he is definitely missed in the NBA.

We last saw him during the 2018-2019 season with the Denver Nuggets where he only played in four games, averaging 2.2 points per game. At the height of his career, he was a very serviceable bench player who could shoot the lights out of the basketball. For his career, he averaged 11.4 points and shot 37.6 percent from beyond the three-point arch.

Young averaged 15.5 points and 51. rebounds over the three years he spent with the Trojans. He also shot 36.8 percent from three-point land. It helped him become a two-time first-team all-conference selection in the Pac-10 and eventually a first round draft pick in 2007.

He like so many others, still loves basketball and it's great to see him still giving it a go!
