After the USC Trojans took down the UCLA Bruins on the road this weekend, the entire team had a collective sigh of relief. While the year hasn't gone quite the way any of them had hoped, USC at least was able to grab a win over their main rivals.

It was an upset victory for the Trojans, but one they desperately needed. The team had looked a little better in recent games but hadn't been able to put it all together.

With this win over UCLA in the books, the Trojans can look to try and finish the year strong. Head coach Andy Enfield broke down where his team goes from here following the massive win.

“We’ve got the Washington schools next. We look forward to taking Sunday off. I’m happy that we beat them here. It has kind of been a flip-flop. Usually it’s the opposite, we win at our place and they win here. We are excited about getting this win. It’s rare to beat the Bruins here in Pauley Pavilion. UCLA is a great team and they are well-coached.”

The Trojans came into the season with high expectations, but injuries and inconsistent play halted everything. But now they have got an opportunity to end the year on a high note.

“We’re trying to get a lot of momentum at the end of the season. We’ve been playing really well. We had a tough overtime loss at Cal. We have really been right there.”

While they likely won't make the NCAA Tournament, the Trojans can make some noise in the Pac-12 Tournament. And who knows, maybe they do enough to warrant a sneak into the big dance.
