The Tigers defeated the Seminoles, 74-63. The Clemson defense stepped up blocking nine shots and holding Florida State to 36.9% field goal shooting for the game. Joseph Girard III scored a game-high 24 points with four made three-pointers and he was a perfect 10-10 from the free throw line. Chase Hunter had 16 points and four assists with several spectacular highlight plays. With PJ Hall in foul trouble most of the game, RJ Godfrey came off the bench to score 12 points, grab six rebounds, and block two shots. Jamir Watkins had a good game for Florida State with 18 points and eight rebounds. Primo Spears added 16 points and three steals.
