After three seasons at East Carolina, Jayden Gardner transferred to Virginia for the 2021-22 season where he become a Third-Team All-ACC player.  Gardner was UVA's go-to player when they were in need of a basket, and he led the team with 15.3 points per game on 50.1% shooting.
