Watch: Tulsa upsets UCF on half-court buzzer-beater

It's been a trying season for the Tulsa men's basketball team. The Golden Hurricane saved their best for last during Sunday's regular-season finale though, shocking visiting UCF on a game-winning, half-court buzzer-beater.

Jeriah Horne's shot at the horn gave Tulsa their 10th win of the season, bettering their overall record to 10-19 and conference mark to 4-14. Horne is one of five seniors on the Golden Hurricane roster and leads the squad in points (16.0), rebounds (6.7), steals (1.3), blocks (0.7) and minutes per game (33.5), as well as three-point field goal percentage (41.1%) and free throw percentage (85.9%.)

The forward told reporters following the win that he's been waiting to hit a game-winner like Sunday's for a long time.

Tulsa will be the No. 10 seed in the AAC conference tournament and will face No. 7 Wichita State at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday.
