What did 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' star say to UConn HC Dan Hurley during Elite Eight blowout?

A famous fan didn't enjoy watching UConn waltz into a second straight Final Four on Saturday.

During an incredible 30-0 run against Illinois, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star and creator Larry David felt enough was enough.

"You can stop coaching, the game's over," David screamed at UConn head coach Dan Hurley, per Dom Amore of the Hartford Courant. "Stop coaching."

David — who also co-created the hit sitcom "Seinfeld" — is scheduled to perform at MGM Hall at Fenway in Boston on Monday. The 76-year-old told CT Insider a friend gave him tickets to the game at TD Garden.

In "Curb Your Enthusiasm," David plays a character based on himself. During the 77-52 blowout, he channeled his character, chiding Illinois for constantly trying to attack star Huskies center Donovan Clingan, who finished with 22 points and five blocks.

"Change your strategy," he hollered multiple times, via Matt Norlander of CBS Sports.

Following the victory, Hurley noted he's a fan of the HBO show and compared himself to David.

"I'm the Larry David of college coaching with my antics and idiosyncrasies," Hurley said, per Amore. "So I'm disappointed. No, 'Curb Your Enthusiasm,' that's a good show."

The Huskies will face Alabama in Phoenix on Saturday. They're trying to become the first team to repeat as national champions since the 2006-07 Florida Gators. The oddsmakers like their chances.

As of Sunday, FanDuel lists UConn as the favorite (-220) to win the title.
The final episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is scheduled to air on April 7. Since its inception in 2000, the show has been nominated for 51 Emmys, winning two.
