The 2022-23 college basketball season will give us a pair of games at a pretty interesting venue.

Wisconsin men’s and women’s basketball team will play at American Family Field, the home of the Milwaukee Brewers, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Monday. The games will take place on November 11 in the Aurora Health Care Brew City Battle. The men will play Stanford while the women will take on Kansas State.

Potrykus also mentions Wisconsin will play Stanford in a neutral site game in 2024. That will likely take place in Sacramento. The women will play at Kansas State in 2023.

How cool of an event is this! While we don’t know how many tickets will be sold or when they will go on sale, I would imagine Wisconsin fans will eat up a ton of these tickets. It’s uncommon to play a neutral site game 90 minutes from your home campus, and even more uncommon to do it in a baseball stadium.

Stanford finished with a 16-16 record last season but will be looking to rebound for a NCAA tournament birth.

The Kansas State women made the NCAA tournament last season and defeated eight seed Washington State. They eventually fell to top seed NC State in the following round.
