Tyran Stokes, the top ranked recruit in the 2026 class, told On3 he has scheduled a visit to Gonzaga. The date of the visit was not released.
This news comes the same week that Baba Oladotun, the top ranked recruit in the 2027 class, indicated he is planning to visit Gonzaga sometime in October - another sign Mark Few and the Zags are heavily invested in high school recruiting following the House settlement and the program's pending move to the Pac-12 starting in the 2026-27 season.
Stokes is a 6'7, 245 pound wing from Sherman Oaks, CA who currently plays for Notre Dame high school which Gonzaga is familiar with after landing Dusty Stromer from there two years ago.

Stokes is originally from Louisville however, and has been strongly pursued not only by Louisville but Kentucky, Kansas, USC, and Oregon as well.
Stokes has already visited Louisville, Kentucky, and Kansas, and his mother, Keiara, revealed her son plans to visit USC, Oregon, and Gonzaga, but would not give official dates for his upcoming visits.
Stokes averaged 21 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game for Notre Dame last season, leading them to a 28-8 overall record. He also participated with Team USA at the FIBA U19 World Cup, playing for former Gonzaga assistant coach Tommy Lloyd.
The 6'7 rising senior scored 10 points in 15 minutes in the gold medal game against Germany, and averaged 9.7 points and 4.4 rebounds across the entire tournament.
Gonzaga is not only in the mix to host both Stokes and Oladotun, but have an official visit lined up with 2026 4-star center Sam Funches in October and will host 2026 5-star point guard Ikenna Alozie as well, with a date still to be determined.
