Watch: Iowa's Caitlin Clark makes more history vs. Minnesota

Believe it or not, Iowa star Caitlin Clark keeps making history, breaking two records Wednesday against Minnesota.

Late in the fourth quarter of No. 6 Iowa's 108-60 blowout win, Clark's eighth three-pointer of the night helped her pass Lynette Woodard of Kansas (1981) for the women's major college scoring record.

Woodard's record came before NCAA-sanctioned women's basketball, but now Clark owns both after overtaking Kelsey Plum for the NCAA mark roughly two weeks ago against Michigan

Before eclipsing Woodard, Clark conquered another NCAA record.

Near the midway point of the third quarter, she drained three-pointer No. 155 on the year, setting the women's single-season mark previously held by Taylor Pierce of Idaho (2019).

Clark recorded her 17th triple-double on Wednesday, finishing with 33 points on 12-of-20 shooting and 8-of-14 from three while adding 12 assists and 10 rebounds.

After claiming two records against Minnesota, Clark now has the highest of summits now in her sights. She needs only 18 points to pass Hall of Famer Pete Maravich (3,667) for the overall NCAA Division I scoring mark. Fittingly, the next chance for the superstar guard to etch her name atop the record books will come in the Hawkeyes' regular-season finale on March 3 against No. 2 Ohio State, who knocked off Iowa 100-92 back on Jan. 21.
