The West Virginia-Iowa women’s basketball game recorded 4.9 million viewers, as announced by ESPN. The peak viewership was 6.4 million during the game.

Monday’s round of 32 matchup was the best pre-semifinal viewership for a women’s basketball NCAA Tournament game on record.

Iowa won the game 64-54 behind Caitlin Clark’s 32 points. Many around the country questioned the officiating in the game, including Damian Lillard and Antonio Brown.
