Caitlin Clark announced her intention to enter the WNBA Draft on March 1, but her record-setting season at Iowa is far from over.

Not only do Clark and the Hawkeyes still have a national championship on their minds, but the reigning player of the year has more records to break. She already smashed Pete Maravich's NCAA scoring record, accomplishing the feat in Iowa's regular-season finale on March 3.

Clark is also making history from beyond the arc. She set the NCAA women's single-season record for 3-pointers in a Feb. 28 blowout of Minnesota. And she shattered Steph Curry's overall record in a Big Ten tournament win over Penn State on March 8.

Here's a look at Clark's 3-point total, including how she stacks up against previous leaders Steph Curry and Darius McGhee.

Clark entered the March 8 contest against Penn State with 162 3-pointers, tied with Curry and McGhee for the all-time lead.

In an uncharacteristic turn, she needed three-plus quarters to notch the record-breaking 3. But after starting 0-for-11 from behind the arc, she hit her 12th shot to take hold of the record.

The Iowa senior set the NCAA women's record on Feb. 28.

Clark has been a sharpshooter since her first season with the Hawkeyes — her career-high percentage from beyond the arc actually came during her freshman season — but she's taken on an even higher volume over the last two years. She made 140 3-pointers in 2022-23, and she's sitting on a record 164 this season with at least three games remaining.

DeCOURCY: Why jump to WNBA was Caitlin Clark's best option

Could Clark threaten the women's career record? It likely would require a deep NCAA Tournament run for Iowa, as she trails former Oklahoma standout Taylor Robertson by 26. The career record had been 497 until Robertson shattered it last season and finished her career with 537.

Clark's average of 5.4 made 3-pointers per game this season would put her on track to break Robertson's record in five games. That will require Iowa to advance in both the Big Ten and the NCAA tournaments, but it might not require the Hawkeyes to go all the way to the Final Four.

What about the overall NCAA record? That's almost certainly out of reach, as Antoine Davis' career total of 588 will be tough to rival with the opportunities Clark has remaining. Davis did play five seasons to Clark's four, however.

NCAA single season 3-point leaders

Only five players in NCAA history — all on the men's side — have made more 3-pointers in a season than Clark, who has at least three games remaining between the regular season, Big Ten Tournament and NCAA Tournament.
