Montana State finished last season 8-4 (6-2 Big Sky) after losing to North Dakota State in the first round of the FCS Playoffs. The Bobcats have won 12 games in two of the past three seasons under head coach Brent Vigen and are looking to win their first national title since 1984. 

Montana State's 2024 schedule features an FBS matchup against New Mexico, three FCS non-conference games, and eight Big Sky conference matchups.
