The Tennessee Vols are one of the programs that will receive an official visit this summer from four-star defensive lineman Christian Garrett.

Garrett, 6-foot-4/285 lbs from Bogart, GA, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 16 defensive lineman in the nation and the No. 20 player in the state of Georgia.

According to On3, Garrett will take an official visit to Tennessee on June 21.

Clemson, Georgia, and Georgia Tech are also in the mix for the talented defensive lineman.

Garrett will announce his commitment on July 20.

“Tennessee is another school I have visited around four times," said Garrett to On3 this week. "I was last there for a practice in March. Tennessee has really taken the time to build a relationship with me and get to know me on a deeper level. They always let me know that I am a need and not a want there."

Garrett told 247Sports this month that off-the-field relationships will be an important factor in his decision.

"I want a place that will take care of me both on and off the field. I want a place that will build me as a man and a football player," said Garrett

Tennessee currently has nine players committed to its 2025 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 14 in the nation.
