The Ducks got a boost in the 2025 recruiting class this weekend.

On Saturday, 2025 Pflugerville (Tex.) Weiss High wide receiver Adrian Wilson  flipped his commitment from the TCU Horned Frogs to the Oregon Ducks

He made the decision during a trip out West to Eugene for Oregon's annual Saturday Night Live camp.

Wilson is listed by 247Sports at 6'2", 173 pounds. The 247Sports Composite rates him a four-star (0.9606) recruit. The same system ranks him the No. 85 player in the country, the No. 14 wide receiver and the No. 11 recruit in Texas.

As a sophomore in 2022 the pass catcher finished the season with 29 catches for 543 yards and eight touchdowns. He chose the Ducks from an offer sheet that included 19 total schools, featuring programs like Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Texas A&M to name a few.

Wilson is the third verbal commitment in Oregon's 2025 recruiting class, which ranks No. 3 in the nation according to 247Sports. He joins Tampa (Fla.) Bay Tech wide receiver Dallas Wilson and Melbourne (Fla.) Eau Gallie interior offensive lineman Chavez 'Sandman' Thompson

Saturday's news was important for Junior Adams in particular, as the staff has been working to add at least one more wide receiver in the 2024 recruiting class. The staff has been prioritizing St. Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers wide out Jeremiah McClellan, who has the Ducks in his top five.

He was scheduled to visit Oregon for Saturday Night Live this weekend, but that trip didn't materialize and schools like Ohio State and Missouri are emerging in that recruitment.

While 2024 is the main priority on the trail, Dan Lanning and his coaching staff have done a good job of continuing to push ahead to 2025 and generate momentum there as well. There's a long way to go before Wilson signs the dotted line on signing day, so the coaches will need to continue recruiting him as if he's uncommitted.
