Alabama has its second senior on the defensive line to accept an invitation to the Reese’s Senior Bowl.

DJ Dale, a native of Birmingham, Ala., joins defensive end, Byron Young.

Dale, a former four-star defensive tackle in the 2019 recruiting class, started four years for the Crimson Tide.

He battled through some injuries, but Dale produced a good senior campaign for the Crimson Tide. The 6-foot-3, 300-pounder totaled 16 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, a fumble recovery, a pass breakup, and a quarterback hurry. Dale has an opportunity to increase his NFL Draft stock with a good performance during Senior Bowl week. He helped the Tide to two Southeastern Conference Championships (2020 and 2021) and a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2020.

The Senior Bowl will be on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, at Whitney Hancock Stadium in Mobile, Ala.
