A new-look SEC is starting in July, as the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners enter the fold, just as a new era of college football begins with a 12-team playoff beginning this upcoming season.
The Texas A&M Aggies also have a new beginning after former defensive coordinator and Duke Blue Devils head coach takes over for the ousted Jimbo Fisher.
Thankfully for Elko, he's not starting from scratch. Returning from last season is quarterback Conner Weigman, who missed A&M's last eight games with an injury. Weigman returns not just with a new head coach, but also a new offensive coordinator in Collin Klein.

Klein has been known to work wonders with quarterbacks during his time at Kansas State, and hopes in Aggieland are that he does the same with Weigman. Elko returns to College Station as head coach with full support from the players and fans and is setting himself up for success in his first season.
