Jayden Daniels’ Arizona State teammates were not at all happy to learn about the quarterback’s transfer news.

Reports emerged on Thursday saying that Daniels was set to leave Arizona State and enter the transfer portal. Not long after the reports came out, ASU defensive lineman Travez Moore shared a video on Instagram of Sun Devils players clearing out Daniels’ locker.

Beware of the bad language in the video.

The irony of Moore razzing Daniels about transferring is that Moore himself is a transfer from LSU.

Daniels announced in early December that he would be returning to Arizona State next season. That’s what makes his transfer surprising. Sun Devil Source further reports that ASU declined to pursue Spencer Rattler in the transfer portal because of Daniels’ return.

Daniels had a breakout 2019 season for Arizona State as a freshman, but last season he passed for 10 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, though he rushed for 710 yards and six touchdowns. Cal could be a possible landing spot for Daniels after the Golden Bears lost Chase Garbers to the NFL Draft.
