Kansas State quarterback Will Howard announced that once the transfer portal opens, he plans to enter.

Howard threw for 2,643 yards and 24 touchdowns this season for the Wildcats while completing 61.3% of his passes.

He also rushed for 364 yards and three touchdowns for the Kansas State Wildcats.

Howard led the Wildcats to an 8-4 record with a win over the ranked Kansas Jayhawks.

On3 listed a few schools "to watch for" when it comes to the portal recruitment of Howard, and Auburn was one of those schools.

The other schools listed were Kentucky, Louisville, Missouri, and Washington.

Howard is still considering heading into the NFL Draft process, but if he does decide to come back to college and play for new schools, these are the ones to pay attention to.

Howard is quick, so it would be interesting to see how he would do in Hugh Freeze's offense, but he definitely has some arm talent.

It will be exciting to see if Coach Freeze and his staff reach out to Howard once the portal opens in the coming days.

Howard is a proven college quarterback who has shown he can win at the Power-5 level.
