It is no secret that Utah has had some success as of late when it comes to pumping out great tight ends.

Dalton Kincaid was taken in the first round of the most recent draft, and Brant Kuithe is poised to have a great year as well. The success at the position is something that attracted former Auburn tight end and Texas native, Landen King. Standing in at 6-foot-5 he offers another weapon for Cam Rising or whoever will be playing quarterback if Rising is unable to go. A choice that he has so far loved thanks to all of the coaches and the culture as he revealed in an interview with 247Sports

"With coach Fred, coach Lud, coach Whitt everybody here, it's really exactly what I thought it'd be and just really glad that I made this decision, no regrets whatsoever."

He is also looking for a chance to showcase his skillset more than he was able to at Auburn, while improving even more.

"I came to Utah primarily because of player development and obviously the tight ends," King said. "I'm a person that really needs to work on my body, get my body right, gain weight and put on muscle mass and Utah has a good track record of doing that."

In two seasons at Auburn, King recorded six catches for 83 yards and one score, but if he is able to carve out a major role for himself as a Ute could surpass those numbers within the first couple weeks of the season.
