Liberty Flames quarterback Malik Willis Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Malik Willis has been impressing scouts during interviews at the NFL Scouting Combine, and something the quarterback did when he thought no one was watching may boost his stock even further.

Willis was spotted helping out a person on the street in downtown Indianapolis on Wednesday. The former Liberty star clearly did not know the random act of kindness was being filmed, but the video has since gone viral.

It’s unclear what Willis gave the person, but NFL executives will love to see that. The gesture came on the same day that reports claimed Willis’ stock is on the rise.

Willis is an intriguing prospect for a number of reasons. He played at Liberty, so scouts didn’t get a chance to see him against top competition. He’s a dual threat quarterback who had 27 passing touchdowns and 13 scores on the ground last season, but he also made plenty of mistakes. Willis threw 12 interceptions and took a whopping 51 sacks.

We know of one team that has been repeatedly linked to Willis, and it sounds like he has a good chance to be taken in the first round. That viral video should certainly help from a character standpoint.
