Bearcats QB Ben Bryant has faced plenty of outside criticism this season.

Fan expectations are understandably through the roof coming off the Desmond Ridder experience, and a College Football Playoff run.

It doesn't matter if Bryant completes 70%+ of his passes, throws for over 290 yards, and multiple touchdowns as he did in the 20-10 win over Navy. It's not enough for part of the fan base, who point to (justified) fumbling problems and a lack of QB rushing in the offense.

Bryant commented on the outside noise on Tuesday.

"Yeah it's a little bit different from last year," Bryant said about the criticism. "Honestly, I have pretty thick skin, that stuff doesn't really get to me. I'm just focused on this team this season and all I really care about is what the people in the locker room and the coaches say about me. I don't really care what anyone else says about me. I'm just focused on getting better for this team and winning games."

Bryant ranks 27th nationally in passing yards (2,358), and t-26th in passing TDs (18), but just 68th in ESPN's QBR (57.3).
