Early Sunday evening, the West Virginia University football program announced safety Aubrey Burks has been discharged from the hospital in Ft. Worth (TX) and is walking under his own power.
Burks left the game in the first half of the Mountaineers' win over TCU Saturday in what can only be described as a scary moment. The senior was carted off the field with an apparent neck or head injury and remained in the hospital overnight for further observation.
