Game Information

BYU (3-1) vs Cincinnati (2-2)
Friday, September 29
Kickoff: 8:15 p.m. MDT
Provo, Utah
Lavell Edwards Stadium (63,470)

On Tuesday, BYU announced that all 63,470 tickets for Friday's home game against Cincinnati have been sold. The game will be played under the lights of Lavell Edwards Stadium.

Friday will be an historic moment for the BYU football program. The Cougars (3-1) host fellow Big 12 newcomer Cincinnati (2-2) in the first Big 12 game at Lavell Edwards Stadium. Friday will be a celebration of more than 50 years of college football accomplishments.

It's also a critical game on BYU's 2023 schedule. BYU is 3-1 with an opportunity to improve to 4-1 before the bye week. Unlike last year when BYU lost to Oregon, BYU still has everything to play for after losing to Kansas on Saturday. A big-time bowl game is still possible. A conference championship is still possible. Bowl eligibility is possible and the bowl opportunities are much better in the Big 12 than they were in the era of independence.
