Cal defensive back Dejuan Butler has entered the transfer portal, according to On3 and rivals.

Butler, a redshirt sophomore this past season, played in 16 games in two-plus seasons at Cal, but did not start any games. He played mostly on special teams.

Butler played in five games in 2023 and recorded one tackle.

He played in nine games all off the bench as a redshirt freshman in 2022, and had four tackles and one forced fumble. Butler picked up his second straight Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll selection that season.

Butler played in two games as a true freshman and had one tackle.

He attended Antioch High School in California and chose Cal over offers from UCLA, Hawaii, and Colorado State among others.
