The Clemson Tigers are 39-19-1 against North Carolina all-time, winning eight of the past nine matchups between the schools. The Tar Heels (8-2, 4-2 ACC) last won at Clemson (6-4, 3-4 ACC) way back in 2001. Led by quarterback Drake Maye, the Tar Heels are still in the hunt for an NY6 Bowl. Head coach Mack Brown spoke to reporters this week about his team's upcoming game against the Tigers (11/18 - 3:30 ABC)

On Clemson: "Clemson's one of the premier programs in the country. They've recruited well every year. They've got great players, they've got great coaches; Dabo's home record is 96 and 9 at Clemson, which I'd take here. I think it's pretty good. But they're playing so much better the last two weeks."

On the changes Clemson has made from the beginning of the season to now: "Their whole problem was they were turning the ball over. And they quit turning it over. So they're forcing turnovers now, instead of turning the ball over. And they're playing with a lot more confidence. You can tell the meeting Notre Dame at home and beating Georgia Tech like they did. And it was a lot worse than the score. Because they were way out there. And I got to see part of that game because of our night game. But they totally dominated Georgia Tech and in a game where we lost on the road. So it'll be a fun environment, but a tough environment. Dabo is one of the best coaches to ever do it. He's a Hall of Famer just waiting till he gets out to get in. And we just played them in the [ACC] championship game. So we're very familiar with them. Cade [Klubnik] came in at quarterback the first time he'd ever come off the bench and played an unbelievable game against us."

Where his team is at after an overtime win against rivals Duke: "We had a very emotional game on Saturday night with a rival, we've got a very emotional game coming up at Death Valley this weekend. And then we'll have another emotional game over at Raleigh next weekend. So our guys have to step up and be tough and be very confident to get through this stretch at the end of the year."
