The biggest decision of the Clemson offseason is in and another Tiger is headed to the NFL Draft.

Just days after helping Clemson to a historic 38-35 win over Kentucky in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, junior running back Will Shipley has declared for the NFL Draft.

“Thank you for everything! The decision to attend Clemson University is the best one l've ever made. My Clemson experience has provided me with lifelong benefits and friendships, a confidence to excel in anything I pursue and an appreciation for a standard of excellence.”

“I am grateful to my teammates, the best brothers I could ever ask for. You've challenged me, made me a better person, and given me memories that I will hold for a lifetime.”

“I am grateful to my coaches and support staff, the greatest mentors that God could have woven together.”

“I am grateful to the Clemson faithful who supported and cheered for me the last three years. Your dedication, words, and messages built me up to fight harder than I ever thought I could fight.”

“I am grateful to my family who is my greatest fan club.”

“And I am grateful to my God who is my rock.”

“I have decided to enter my name into the 2024 NFL draft. I am grateful for the last three years and am excited to see what the future holds! Although I am taking the next step of my journey, I will always be a Clemson Tiger!” - Will Shipley

Shipley has been a star for Clemson since stepping foot on campus. He rushed for 2,747 yards in his career and added 602 yards through the air. He also punched the ball into the endzone 33 times and threw a touchdown.
