College football fans had strong opinions on Nick Saban’s new gig. The legendary head coach made a stunning decision last month to retire from Alabama. However, Saban isn’t about to stop working completely.
Saban cited health and long hours as reasons why he retired from Alabama. According to ESPN, Saban is taking a lighter workload next fall by joining the "College GameDay" crew, serving as an analyst. Saban said:
“ESPN and College GameDay have played such an important role in the growth of college football, and I’m honored to have the opportunity to join their team,” Saban said in a statement. “I’ll do my best to offer additional insights and perspectives to contribute to College GameDay, the ultimate Saturday tradition for college football fans.”
