According to Hayes Fawcett of On3, Myles Slusher, a safety for the Colorado Buffaloes, has indicated his intention to join the transfer portal once it reopens on April 15.

Slusher, who previously played for the Arkansas Razorbacks, made the move to Colorado in January 2023 after committing to Louisville initially.

Despite his potential, Slusher faced challenges due to injuries during his time with Colorado.

Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 195 pounds, the junior defensive back participated in just four games in the past season, including starting in the Buffs’ first game against TCU. Throughout the season, he accumulated 17 tackles, one sack, and a pass breakup.

During his tenure at Arkansas, Slusher demonstrated his capabilities with 93 total tackles, nine tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and two interceptions in 23 games across three seasons.

Joining Slusher in the portal from Colorado’s defensive lineup are Jahquez Robinson and Kyndrich Breedlove, both of whom recently committed to Ryan Walters’ Purdue Boilermakers.

Slusher will be making this transfer move with two years of college eligibility remaining, presenting an opportunity for him to continue his football career elsewhere.

This is a tough loss for the Colorado Buffaloes as they look to become a legitimate contender in 2024.
