Next season for the Colorado Buffaloes, we may see spears and jackhammers thrown out on the field as middle linebacker Gage Goldberg has committed to the program. He is the son of WWE Hall of Famer and University of Georgia alumnus Bill Goldberg. He posted a picutre of himself and the mascot on his social media with the following caption.

After a great conversation, I am honored to announce that I am committing to the University of Colorado to continue my football and academic career.”

Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes are doing a great job of recruiting this offseason as they have the 21st-ranked class. Goldberg is just the seventh prep school player to join the program after coach Prime’s first season.

This is going to be interesting to see how Gage Goldberg does in the spotlight this time, instead of seeing his father do so.

Will the Colorado Buffaloes improve in 2024?

The Colorado Buffaloes are in an interesting spot as Deion Sanders joined in the final season of the Buffs being in the Pac-12 Conference and will be in the Big 12 now. He lost both coordinators from Year 1 and added some incredible talents to his coaching staff.

However, they have added some significant upgrades to their weaknesses as they added the top offensive lineman Jordan Seaton and continue to add some great talent. The team has an easier schedule in the Big 12 than they did in the Pac-12 and the Buffs have a second year of their program. Seeing quarterback Shedeur Sanders and cornerback Travis Hunter in the second year of Power Five football.

They will be in a better position to dominate and make a bowl game for the first time in this coaching tenure for coach Sanders and company.
