Deion Sanders's son, Shilo Sanders, follows his dad and brother to Colorado

Deion Sanders hasn't yet coached an official game at Colorado just yet, but he's completely revamped the roster and has created a sense of hype and expectation around the Buffalos that undoubtedly never existed before.

He's also made Colorado a family affair. One of his sons, quarterback Shedeur Sanders, transferred from Jackson State to the Buffaloes almost immediately after his dad did the same as head coach. Now, it's being reported that another son, ex-Jackson State safety Shilo Sanders, is joining his younger brother and dad in Boulder.

Experience will be the name of the game for Shilo at Buffalo. He started his career at South Carolina, recording 32 tackles in 13 games for the Gamecocks in two years.

Sanders was a standout safety at Jackson State, earning all-SWAC honors in 2021 with four interceptions, two forced fumbles, seven pass breakups and 39 tackles. He notched one interception, five passes defended and 20 tackles last season for the Tigers.

Sanders had actually entered the transfer portal on the same day as his brother Shedeur, December 17, but he stayed at JSU to finish an undergraduate degree.

He's now officially a grad transfer for Buffalo, and officially the eighth player to follow "Coach Prime" from Jackson State to Colorado.
