In the midst of some transfer portal commitment flips to the Louisville Cardinals, two offensive stars with the Ole Miss Rebels sounded off on their appreciation for Oxford and their program on Wednesday.

Wide receiver Jordan Watkins, a former standout with Louisville, shared a message on social media expressing no regrets for choosing to transfer to Ole Miss prior to the 2022 season. You can view his post here.

"If I could do it over, I’d still choose Ole Miss and it’s not close!!" Watkins said.

That's where quarterback Jaxson Dart comes in. Dart is also a former transfer, having spent his first season of college ball with the USC Trojans before coming to Oxford prior to the 2022 campaign. He quoted Watkins' post on X and simply stated "FACTS."

Whether or not these posts were in reference to recent transfer flips or just more campaigning for their program in the latest portal cycle is unclear, but the fact that Watkins came to Oxford from Louisville is an interesting footnote.

Regardless, both of these playmakers and many others have opted to return to campus for the 2024 season after Ole Miss finished with an 11-2 record in 2023, the first 11-win campaign in school history. The Rebels have also added talent on the offensive side out of the portal, including wide receiver Juice Wells from South Carolina.
