Colorado has secured a commitment from one of the AAC's top veteran receivers in 2023.

Florida Atlantic University Wider Receiver LaJohntay Wester announced his commitment to Deion Sanders' program on his Instagram page on Tuesday morning. Wester was a 2023 FWAA All-American as a punt returner.

Wester spent the previous four seasons at FAU after signing with the Owls following a standout prep career at Florida's Palmetto High School.

In each of the last two seasons, Wester caught eight touchdown passes. In 2023, Wester had a career season with 108 catches for 1,168 yards - the most receiving yards in the AAC this past season. He also had 14 punt returns for a total of 278 yards with one touchdown return.

Over the last four seasons, Wester has totaled 252 catches for 2703 yards with 21 touchdown receptions. He also has two rushing touchdowns in his college career.

FAU has Wester listed at 5' 11" and 167 pounds. Because the 2020 season did not count towards players' eligibility, he should have one year of eligibility remaining.
