A former University of Alabama football athlete and four-star recruit looks to become a star at a new program.
Demouy Kennedy, a native of Theodore, Ala., transferred to the University of Colorado under Coach Deion “Prime” Sanders.
He helped the Crimson Tide to a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2020 and served as an emergency running back in 2021 through 14 games. Kennedy got recruited as an inside linebacker, but he made most of his plays on special teams.
He played five games last year because of an injury. In an interview with NoSkoZone, Kennedy discusses his process of returning to full strength from injury. He broke down a significant difference between Colorado’s and Alabama’s strength programs.
“The real reason why I am getting back is because they are working me,” Kennedy said about Colorado’s strength staff. “I love it though. I will say the difference between Alabama workouts and Colorado workouts is at CU I feel like they teach more technique. They sit there and teach you the technique. They make sure you know the technique. They make sure you are doing it right.”
Kennedy said technique is the only difference between Alabama’s and Colorado’s strength programs.
We will see how he performs with the Buffalos in the fall.
