West Virginia quarterback Garrett Greene didn't enter the season as one of the nation's top quarterbacks, but he finished the year as one.

According to Pro Football Focus , Greene had 90.8 grade for the season which is good for a 7th place tie with Michael Penix Jr. (Washington) and Drake Maye (North Carolina).

Greene threw for 2,178 yards and 15 touchdowns to just four interceptions. One of those interceptions was purely on running back Jaylen Anderson which came in the loss to Houston. If you've seen the play, you'd understand that Greene really only threw three picks on the year. The one area Greene must make strides in this offseason is hitting the bunnies - the underneath routes or ones that require taking some velocity off the throw and putting more touch on it. Doing so will go a long way in improving his 53% completion percentage.

In addition to what he did through the air, Greene added 708 yards and 13 touchdowns with his legs. That's the most for a Mountaineer quarterback since Skyler Howard put up 463 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2016.
